Do you feel like the Data PM (DPM) role will grow in parellel to the AI PM role? There's a fair amount of DPMs wearing AI PM hats. Or data scientists and engineers filling that role without the title. Especially the DPM role.
If we see DPMs being different from AIPMs, what i do, then the number of Data Products should be less in relation to the number of AI Products. Assuming that each Data Product could potentially be leveraged by many AI Products.
But each of those products will need PMs. So yes, they will grow in parallel but with different pace.
Some day - i believe - every organization will understand employees wearing many hats will decrease their performances. And for data or ai products it is too critical to have low quality products. But let’s see when this time comes 😂
